Abstract
Previous researchers saw that during the learning process regarding the adaptation of living things, some students were less active and did not pay attention, because the teacher only used media that was available at school, namely textbooks. The lesson material is delivered directly to students and students only listen and take notes from the teacher's explanation. The learning model used is still observant, resulting in less meaningful learning and also making students less motivated to learn more about science subject matter, especially about the adaptations of living things. The application of the traditional game of throwing rubber to the material on adapting living creatures aims to help teachers provide recommendations for interesting and fun learning based on analysis of previous research results. The method used in this research is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the Google Scholar database. The results of research conducted by (Hartatik & Rahayu, 2018), (Sela et al., 2021), and (Muhsin, 2023) show that the traditional game of throwing rubber can increase student understanding and improve student learning outcomes. The implications carried out by previous researchers were able to increase the percentage of students' learning outcomes to achieve the expected average value.
