LOCKSS Archiving System

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a secure and permanent archival environment for scholarly content.

LOCKSS is an open-source digital preservation software developed by the Stanford University Library. The system enables participating libraries to preserve selected web-based journals by continuously collecting and archiving newly published content from registered journal websites.

Each archived copy is regularly validated against other library caches to ensure content integrity. In the event that any content becomes corrupted, damaged, or lost, the system can automatically restore the material using copies preserved by other participating libraries or from the journal source itself.
