Pelatihan Guru PAUD dalam Praktik Compassion pada Kegiatan Numerasi Anak Usia Dini

Numeracy learning in early childhood education is often carried out without considering children’s emotional needs, indicating that teachers require a deeper understanding of compassion practices to create a more empathetic and humanistic learning environment. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge of early childhood education teachers in applying compassion practices to early numeracy activities. The implementation method consisted of workshop-based training, including conceptual material delivery and practical, numeracy-based activities. Evaluation was conducted using pretests and posttests to measure the improvement in teachers’ understanding. The results show a significant increase in teachers’ comprehension. The average pretest score was 63%, reflecting limited understanding of compassion concepts and their application. After the training, the posttest score increased to 88%, indicating that teachers were able to understand compassion principles and integrate them into the planning and implementation of numeracy activities. The 25% point improvement confirms the effectiveness of the training in strengthening teachers’ competencies.
